Terry has been involved with NSELC since 1995 as a facilitator for NSELC modules, workshops and an instructor in the Instructional Leadership Academy. Terry also taught at Mount Saint Vincent University and facilitated professional development sessions at local, provincial and national conferences on a wide variety of educational topics. He retired from the public school system in June 2010 after a thirty three year career. In addition to his classroom experience, he was a vice principal and for 16 years a principal at both the junior and high school levels. During his years in administration he was the recipient of the HRSB Distinguished Administrators’ Award, The School Administrators Association Distinguished Administrators’ Award and in 2010 was recognized as one of Canada’s Outstanding Principals by The Learning Partnership. Since retirement he has been an educational consultant working with HRSB, SSRSB, and The Department of Education.
